| Other information | The TBA is trialling this event, which has been popular in other clubs, for the first time this year. |
| Details | Pairs are matched to form a “balanced” team. The pair with the most combined masterpoints will be teamed with the pair with the least number of masterpoints and so on. |
| | The idea is to create a more level playing field than is usual in teams events so that any team is capable of winning. |
