Sunday 20 September 2026 was the final day of the GNOT Online Finals where the teams representing each region compete on RealBridge to qualify for the face-to-face finals to be held in late November in Brisbane. Sixty teams competed in the event.

Tasmania has three regions in the GNOT - North, South and Tasmania. The North and South teams were selected through the club qualifying sessions and the regional finals. The Tasmania team was selected through an online event. The three Tasmanian teams are:

The Tasmania team won over Sunshine Coast 1 in the final knockout round and so are one of the four teams that qualify through the knockout for the National Finals. As Tasmania is classed as a non-metropolitan region the team had the choice of playing in either the National Finals or the National Non-Metropolitan Final. The team elected to play in the National Finals.

The Tasmania North and Tasmania South teams played eight rounds in the Swiss Repechage. The top four teams from the Repechage qualify for the National Finals, and the top 12 non-metropolitan teams qualify for the National Non-Metropolitan Final. Tasmania South came 42nd overall (4 wins, 1 draw) and 15th of the non-metropolitan regions. Tasmania North came 48th overall (4 wins) and 26th of the non-metropolitan regions.

Although Tasmania South were not in the top 12 non-metropolitan teams, at 15th they still have a chance of qualifying. The top two non-metropolitan teams (Tasmania and Sunshine Coast 1) qualified to play in the National Finals and get the choice of which event to play in. Assuming both elect to play in the National Finals, Tasmania South would be next in line if any of the next 12 opt to not play.
