Tuesday 3 November 2026 saw the 166th running of the Melbourne Cup, and the continuation of the TBA's tradition of Melbourne Cup Day sessions. 23 pairs played in the daytime session. The session incuded sweeps, lunch, drinks, prizes for best headwear and outfit, and the race on the big screen after bridge.
