The Tassie Swiss Teams were held at the TBA on 16-17 May 2026. Due to the small number of teams entered this event was held as a double round robin rather than a Swiss draw. The seven teams played two 8 board matches against each of the other teams over two days.
The event also includes a handicap component where each team is given an IMP handicap based on the aggregate masterpoints of each team. This event also determines the winners of the inter-club Challenge Cup which is awarded to the club with the highest placed team with all members from one club.
The open event was won by the team of Julie Rhodes, Hilton Francis, Mardi Grosvenor and John Grosvenor. They also won the Challenge Cup for the TBA. Full results are available here.
